D. I. S. C. O.
Anyone for a chut?
Sandra, V, Ali and me
I was able to truly reminisce on the Hetton Comp days when I bumped into another Compa on the dance floor (who was in the year below but I have no idea who he is). What are the odds of a) bumping into someone from Hetton in London and b) actually talking to that person when there were at least 600-700 other people in the place. I was disappointed he wasn't wearing the blue and gold striped tie and crested blazer but school days certainly came crashing back with some good old Bowes/Lambton House rivalry.

Santiago de Compostela 12-15 May 2007
However, we weren't the only celebrities in town that night. We bumped in to Danny De Vito just outside the cathedral (or maybe not).
Our hotel was inside the main shopping centre which you could wander around at anytime of the day or night. At 5.30am arriving back to the hotel after one too many cerveza's we decided to do a bit of window shopping.
Sore feet will not stop Vanessa looking at the shops
"Hello little fishies"
Roughly translated to mean "not for children, adults only"
We did manage to fit a few other things in to the weekend other than shopping and drinking vino and cerveza's and here is the photo evidence to prove it:
(Taken while walking between a shop and a pub)
This is the Cathedral of Santiago which is meant to be really famous and something to do with the Pilgrimage of St James but we didnt waste valuable shopping time to find out the history.
All in all it was a good trip, somewhere not too touristy and where we could sample the local produce - la pulpo, tarta da santiago and........
....Boob cheese

The Hatch
The sun was shining, the sky was blue (ish) so on saturday night in true north eastern style we rounded up the family and had dinner al fresco. It may have been freezing but hey at least we got to pose in the new African Thatch. While we enjoyed the wine the dogs were left to entertain themselves
Awww, so cute......

Greenwich...
How many glasses later ????
After seeing all those runners and watching them crossing the finish line half dead one thing is for sure - Mandy you were right - I will never ever be doing the London Marathon, Great North Run or any other such punishment. I will remain a spectator.

Bunney Fluffs Moving Day
I've moved house again and I didn't fall out of the boat and into the river but the van was piled just as high as the Bunny Fluffs. Still trying to finish unpacking but there just isn't anywhere to keep all my shoes and bags.
Our new local just happens to be Gordon Ramsay's new venture. Needless to say by day two it's fares had already been tried and tested and I can't say it made much of an impression. Good choice of beer on tap but the service was awful and it was way too busy. Give me Flynns any day.

......."Soon the furniture was settled and a lovely tea was spread, soon the guests had all departed and the Bunnies were safe in bed. Bunneymeade and all it's dangers was a house they soon forgot, but they always would remember moving day to Bunney-Cot"

HOLIDAYS
Just got back from a holiday in Tunisia. Had a great time. Its a really interesting country but still needs a lot of developing and some areas resemble a war zone. The tourist areas are nice and the hotels are really good for the price. Everything is so cheap - food, clothes and shoes, leather etc. I would definitely go back even just for the shopping experience of the Souks.
The Souk in Sousse.

Had a really busy last few months. I've finally moved house to a lovely new flat on the river in Docklands. There are a few pictures of the complex on this website:

I've just changed jobs as well and will be starting at the end of November.
Had a weekend at Centreparcs for Gemmas Hen Weekend. All the Hetton lot were there and it was certainly entertaining. Gemma had the most stunning jacket and was dressed to impress on saturday night (photos to follow). Lets hope the rope burns from abseiling have gone before the wedding night.
So all in all its been a really busy time. Although I still managed to squeeze in a night at London Fashion Week earlier this month. Had a great time drinking ridiculously expensive champagne and making the most of the freebies.
